‘Skulking in the dark’
White pen, blackboard paint, found standard lamp. 2010
The choice of the standard lamp is a wry acknowledgement of the recent illumination of early life events on current sibling relationships. The standard lamp references the domestic location of the events considered. The actual photographic print size of the original 1960’s photographs is mirrored in the white drawings. The choice of blackboard paint simultaneously conjures images of innocent childhood scribbles.
